About The Agent
I grew up in
Riverside,
California but,
since my father was
in the Air Force, I
graduated from
Vacaville High
School in northern
California. At
California State
University,
Sacramento, I
obtained a degree in
business. My
management training
came from twenty-one
years as an officer
in the Army
Reserves. This
experience broadened
my skills incredibly
in the areas of
administration and
dealing with each
situation or person
individually. The
experience also
enabled me to see
the importance of
altruism in all its
forms, one of which
was the non-profit
corporation.
Because I started
working with
non-profit
corporations in
1981, it seemed a
perfect fit to
transition into
owning a company
like All-Cal, which
now specializes in
commercial insurance
primarily for
non-profit
corporations. This
was an attractive
area to work in
because it
represented a niche
market that had
heretofore gone
untapped: few
companies were
providing insurance
services to
non-profit
companies. Even
All-Cal, which was
founded almost fifty
years ago,
originally provided
only personal lines
of insurance. The
All-Cal staff
understands the
insurance needs of
non-profit
organizations, which
are considerably
different than those
of for-profit
companies. Most
importantly, we work
with top-rated
carriers to deliver
customer service
that reflects the
highest standards of
expertise and
professionalism.
I have been an
active pilot for
over thirty years
because I love
flying and,
sometimes, I even
fly to see my
clients. Golf is
another favorite of
mine but, because
there is never
enough time to be
out on the links,
I'm a much better
pilot than a golfer.
I find that I
continue to learn
more every
day-especially from
my clients. That is
why it is so
essential to me that
they understand that
we strive to be
knowledgeable in our
marketplace, with an
approach that is
helpful and
down-to-earth. Most
importantly, I know
that this business
is built on
relationships so, if
